Tuition & Cost

We understand that a flexible private school education is a significant investment for your family. Capstone Academy is committed to making our program financially feasible for families and to attracting talented, well-qualified students, regardless of their families’ economic circumstances.

At Capstone, we strive to keep costs as low as possible. Because the yearly budget is based on the total number of students enrolled, parents are expected to commit to the program for the entire school year, August through May. A withdrawal fee equal to a full year’s tuition will be charged once the first tuition date has passed. Parents are committed to pay the entire year’s tuition regardless of withdrawal date.

Cost to Apply

Application Fee

A non-refundable fee of $150 (does not include processing fees) must be submitted with each application. This fee is non-refundable regardless of the final admission status of your student.

Enrollment Deposit

The Enrollment Deposit for all 2024 – 2025 applicants is $1,485. This fee is non-refundable except for instances of a student’s application resulting in denial or waitlist. The deposit will not be refunded if a parent decides to withdraw their student’s application or if they decide not to attend after being accepted into the program. The enrollment deposit is an annual fee that is charged to new and existing families to secure their spot for the following school year.

Testing Fee

Our admissions committee may determine that academic testing is necessary to complete the application process for prospective students, grades 5-12.

Please be prepared to pay the $65 testing fee when you arrive at your testing appointment. Some students may not be required to test. You will be notified of your testing requirement once your application for admission is reviewed.

Applying for Financial Aid

In order to receive a Georgia GOAL Scholarship, a student must meet all eligibility requirements contained in the law under which we operate, must meet all admission requirements set by Capstone Academy, and must go through the application process before receiving a scholarship.

To qualify for receipt of a scholarship, a student must be a Georgia resident who is currently enrolled in, and has attended a Georgia secondary or primary public school for at least 6 weeks* immediately prior to receiving a scholarship or tuition grant under this law, or who is eligible to enroll in a qualified Pre-K4, Kindergarten, or 1st grade program.
The six week attendance requirement may be waived in the following cases:
- A student is or would be assigned to a public school that the Office of Student Achievement determines to be a low-performing school based on the school attendance zone of his or her primary residence.
- A student is the subject of officially documented cases of school based physical violence or student related verbal abuse threatening physical harm.
- A student was enrolled in an official home study program for at least one year immediately prior to receiving a scholarship or tuition grant under this law.
GOAL Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need. GOAL provides its participating schools with scholarship award guidelines based upon family size and adjusted gross income.

When GOAL approves a scholarship recommendation, a GOAL Scholarship Agreement is sent to school officials for execution by the parents, an authorized school official, and GOAL. At the beginning of each year for which a scholarship is awarded, the participating school and GOAL again consider the financial need of the scholarship family and determine a scholarship award amount for the upcoming school year.
