Capstone Academy
Forming Friendships & Pursuing Interests
The Capstone Academy experience doesn’t end with the final class of the day.
Our students and faculty extend learning beyond the classroom. Capstone students come to campus not only to learn, but to meet with friends, work with classmates, and explore their interests—from sports and the arts to clubs and special events.
In a typical week, a Capstone Academy student might spend their afternoons involved in athletic practices and games, plays or music rehearsals, or whatever their unique special interest and passion. All of these opportunities – and many others – afford our students the opportunity to hone leadership, time management, and collaborative skills, strengths upon which they will build for years to come.
Weekly Schedule
We meet three days per week with the optional extended day. Traveling students maintain educational momentum through instructional support and teacher communication by following their individualized Travel Accountability Plan (TAP) if they are going to be absent for more than one week.
