Hello! My name is Leif Patterson
I’m passionate about helping students understand the systems that shape our world. I teach Government, Economics, Technology, and Finance, and I love finding ways to make these subjects engaging and relevant to students’ lives. I graduated from the magnet program at Grady High School in Atlanta and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Eckerd College.
My goal as a teacher is to get students excited about government, economics, and personal finance, and to empower them to engage with their future in meaningful ways.
Outside the classroom, I’m a tournament chess player and lead the Chess Club here at Capstone as well as at several other schools in the Atlanta area.
